Last year over 480 children and adults benefited from the Holiday
Food Basket Project. We greatly appreciate the support and generosity of individuals, businesses, faith communities and volunteer groups that have contributed to the project over the years. Again this year, the Colchester- Milton Rotary Club is assembling baskets of food and other small gift items for the less fortunate in our community d...uring this holiday season.
A TREMENDOUS NEED IN 2010
As this Project enters its 37th year, we find during these difficult economic times an increasing local need. We anticipate 25% greater demand for Holiday Food Baskets than last year, when baskets were provided to over 105 families serving 487 family members in Colchester. Through our communities donations we're able to support those families with a weeks plus food supply to create a nourishing and healthful holiday season.

HELP OUR NEIGHBORS IN COLCHESTER
If there is a way you could help to bring some joy and relief to this especially vulnerable group in our community it would be greatly appreciated. Seeing a smile on a child's face really makes the holiday season worthwhile; just ask any of our volunteer delivery people.
