Lake Champlain Access Television provides local interest programing, including select and school board meetings, election coverage and community events, 24 hours a day on three channels, as well as providing video content on lcatv.org. In addition, LCATV provides equipment, training and channel time for community members to produce their own television programming.  

Kevin Christopher, Executive Director of LCATV, first came to Vermont in 1996 to work as a theater counselor at Brown Ledge Camp on Malletts Bay. After three summers on staff there, he decided to make Vermont his permanent home. In the fall of 1998, he began doing the Playback Programming for Lake Champlain Access Television and in 1999, became LCATV’s Executive Director.

Under Kevin’s leadership LCATV has grown to 5 fulltime and 7 part-time staff members with 3 channels. LCATV is currently the fourth largest access center in the state.

Kevin has been active in Vermont Access Network, Allaince for Community Media – Northeast Region and the Alliance for Communications Democracy.

In his other life, Kevin is active in local theatre He has a degree in theatre from West Virginia University and in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin.
