Sam Anderson has recently rejoined GBIC as Executive Vice President with a focus on the Municipalities and value-added businesses in Chittenden County.

She has over 20 years of experience in economic development in Vermont at both the state and regional levels of which 12 years were at GBIC and 10 years as the Executive Director at the Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation.

Sam is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO).

The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission’s organizational vision is to be a pre-eminent, integrated regional organization that plans for healthy, vibrant communities, economic development, and efficient transportation of people and goods while improving the region’s livability.

The mission of the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission is to act as the principal forum for planning, policy, and community development in the region. 

Taylor Newton is a Senior Planner at CCRPC.  He has over 8 years of experience working with municipalities and regional planning commissions in Vermont on land use, environmental, and energy planning issues.  He joined CCRPC in 2020.  Taylor’s work is primarily focused on providing municipalities with planning, regulatory, and project management assistance. | 

Colchester’s Representative is Jacqueline Murphy. Milton’s Representative is Tony Miclus and the Alternate is John Fitzgerald.
