Lucy and Howe Brewing Company
Born and raised in NH, my route to brewing beer and owning a brewery has been circuitous. I was originally a kindergarten teacher in Brooklyn NY, which is where I met my wife- she was a 2nd grade teacher in the same school. We decided to give international teaching a try for awhile, and landed in Vienna, Austria- I taught kindergarten and 1st grade, she continued to teach 2nd graders.

While there, I became enamored of the brewing culture that exists in Europe- careful, considered brewing of styles that have a rich a developed history. This history, this meeting of art and sience, was something I could see myself getting involved in.

And when we moved back to the states I got my chance. I started working at Magic Hat Brewing Company in 2015 filling kegs second shift- and from there I moved up to Lead Brewer in charge of fermentation and wort production, which was not nearly as fancy as is sounds.

In 2020 two things happened- I started Lucy and Howe Brewing Company, and COVID happened. It was an interesting time to start a brewery, but through the grace of our customers and some elbow grease, we made it work.

In 2022 we moved into the Jericho General Store building with our friends Brew House Coffee Company, and since then we've been brewing and packaging beer, offering bites to eat, full pours, and events when we can manage them.
