Rotary Supports Making Strides Against Cancer
The Colchester-Milton Rotary Club participated for the 7th consecutive year with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to fundraise and support families and survivors fighting cancer. This year we have raised over $700 and hope to continue to the $1000 mark.
Over the years the team has raised more than $10,000 for the cause. The Chittenden County Making Strides event has raised $300,000 and are still counting and accepting donations through the end of the year. Betty Koshinsky was the team leader and other participants and donors were Maureen Garofano, Leora Black, Cathy LaClair, Kevin Endres (drove the Pink Bus transporting participants to the event), Trish Phelps, Rosemarie Ryea, Suzanne Brown, Erica Marks, Kent Booream, Will Hamilton, Ed Saulnier, Tim Brisson, David Carter and Kiki Leech.
